Stand with us to make sure no one wakes up to an empty bowl
Hunger across Australia and New Zealand is on the rise. Before the pandemic, we already had a problem, with more than 1 in 5 Aussies and 1 in 10* Kiwis having experienced food insecurity in the past year. And this issue has only worsened, with the demand for food relief higher than ever before.
So, while we may be standing physically apart, it’s more important than ever for us to stand together in the fight against hunger. Kellogg’s has always been committed to helping our communities by feeding those in need, and, for the last 10 years, we have been donating over 3 million breakfasts a year to those who need it most. But during the pandemic, it’s just not enough, so we’re upping our efforts by donating an additional 1 tonne of food every month to our charity partners over the next 6 months, on top of our regular donations – that’s 150,000 bowls of cereal each month - and we encourage you to join us, by donating what you can to Foodbank Australia.
For our friends in New Zealand, we encourage you join us by supporting the New Zealand City Missions and Eat My Lunch, by donating what you can to Eat My Lunch through their Give Two product. Support your local City Mission today by dropping off non-perishable foods to your local Mission in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch.
We firmly believe that no one should have to wake up to an empty bowl and, with your help, we can make sure no one does.
