OUR COMMITMENT TO BETTER DAYS
We’re all about creating Better Days, not only for you today but for the future as well, and we’re working to run a sustainable business to help ensure the world we live in is good shape for generations to come.
We’ve taken a holistic look at our supply chain to come up with goals that include responsibly sourcing of some of our most used ingredients and the reduction in our use of natural resources including water, waste and energy.

In Kellogg Australia and NZ, to help create Better Days we’re focused on reducing our environmental impact whilst increasing our social impact, and we have already donated over 60 million meals to families in need since 2013.
Our ongoing sustainability efforts have seen us make changes to the way we produce, develop and deliver our products. This includes offsetting 100% of our energy with renewable energy through our Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) and making a 45% water reduction over the last year, which is the equivalent of 1 million litres saved per day! We have also decreased our waste across our Botany factory and, as a result, reusing 95% of the by-product in our factory back into our food, other innovations, or animal feed. An important part of reducing our waste has been adopting more environmentally friendly packaging, and we’ve now rolled out the Australasian Recycling Label (ARL) across 85% of our Kellogg branded products so far.
We’re really proud of the work we’re doing in continuing to deliver our commitment to 100% recyclable, reusable or compostable packaging by 2025, finding new and innovative ways to reduce our impact on the environment and helping to protect our planet.
